Core Stretch and Flex

by Saturday, January 16, 2016

I think it is time for few of us to really get serious about the core! Here a new class for intermediate.

The biomechanical ideal in training is to achieve the most stable, balanced, integrated relationship of the spine and extremities in order to prevent injury and use your core in a ‘star’ way. This routine specifically consists of flexibility and alignment training and core strength, balance and stability with precise floor barre exercises and standing alignments. The class is 50 min and evolves in dynamic, isometric and developmental stretching. We will work in alignment all the time to avoid strain in the body, so that we can use our bodies with more efficiency. Expand the body in one dimension and every dimension expands…This class does not have many cardio elements – it is a complementary class to cardio, dance or martial arts training.

Tuesday, 19:00 – 19:50 in East Finchley, Loyalty Card Only
